Strategy Games That Respect Your Time

A lot of mobile strategy games are secretly built around waiting. Timers, energy meters, daily nags: they turn a good game into a chore. The good news is you can usually spot the offenders quickly.

Play the first thirty minutes with a critical eye. Does the game hand you a genuine decision, or just a checklist of taps to earn a reward? Are you being pushed toward waiting for a timer to expire? Those early signals rarely lie.
