About
Tower & Tactic started as a shared notes doc between a few friends who kept arguing about which mobile strategy games were worth the storage space. At some point the notes got long enough to become a website. Now it's a small editorial project where we install games, play them for real, and write honestly about how they feel on a touchscreen.
We care most about two things: how a game teaches you its systems, and whether it stays fun once the tutorial ends. A lot of mobile titles look great in a trailer and fall apart after an hour. Our job is to spend that hour, and many more, so you don't have to guess.
Games get picked for review in a simple way. Someone on the team gets curious, or a reader points us at something, and we give it a fair shot on an actual phone. We don't take payment to cover a game, and we say clearly when we didn't enjoy something. That's the whole point.
