Emberfall Legends

Emberfall Legends is a proper mobile RPG with a party of four, skill trees you'll actually plan around, and turn-based fights that reward positioning. The writing won't win awards, but the world has personality and the side quests occasionally surprise you.

Combat is the strongest part. Each character has a distinct role, and the enemy design forces you to swap tactics rather than spam your best move. On a phone the menus stay readable, and you can queue actions without the interface fighting you.

The one caveat is the mid-game grind. There's a stretch around level twenty where progress slows, and you'll want to lean on side content. Push through it and the back half opens up nicely.
