Skyport Tycoon

Skyport Tycoon puts you in charge of a floating airport, and the joy is in the logistics. You lay out runways, schedule flights, manage staff and slowly expand into a busy hub. It scratches that optimisation itch without ever feeling stressful.

The interface is clean for a sim, which is rare on mobile. Menus are deep but organised, and you can zoom into individual gates or pull back for the whole layout. Numbers matter here, but the game explains them well.

It does slow down once your airport is running smoothly, and late-game challenges are thin. Still, the first several hours are genuinely absorbing, and it autosaves so you can dip in and out.
